Constitution - 2010

Muckhart Golf Club "Old Masters" will consist of a maximum of 22 regular players.

Guest players can join us on any day, as long as total number of players does not cause disruption to other booked tee times.

"Old Masters" Sweep Competition.
To be in the sweep the player must be in the draw on the day.
Sweep competition will be played in stableford format.
Note 1: On Sat/Sun national handicap is used, on Tue/Thu sweep handicap is used.

Sweep will be played over the designated course of the day.
Note 2: This may be varied in inclement weather conditions.
Note 3: This may be varied in winter depending on winter green status.

In the case of a tie the Sweep money will be divided equally between the winners.

If the Sweep entry total exceeds £10 and winning score is not tied, there will be two prizes. First will get £10, second and ties will get remainder.

The winner of the Sweep will have his sweep handicap cut by one stroke for each sweep win.
Note 4: In the case of a tie, all tied winners are cut according to the above rule.

On 1st April and 1st November sweep handicaps restart at club handicaps.

A quorum - to allow winner’s handicap to be reduced is six players.

Guests who play with us may be included in the sweep only if they accept a handicap cut of 1 shot per complete month since 1st November in winter, 1st April in summer. The choice is theirs.
