It may be difficult, but have some sympathy for Dave Bates with 44 points & no reward.
Warmer than of late, but no rain.

A couple of showers, which didn't come to much. But umbrellas were deployed.
 Pretty cold though!
Another faller today - Within eight paces of informing all and sundry that his shoes were fabulous,
Dave Bates did a "curtsey" (his words) on the 9th.

Only four players, who fought a hard match.

Very wet underfoot.
Three championship players, lunching in the warm clubhouse,
heard a lot of rubbish about "a hard fought match"!!!

Bill Hutchinson with 45 points (h'cap cut one shot).
 Second place - Chris Robertson with 43 points.
Bitingly cold wind from the west.
One faller today - Dave Donegan came down the 8th(Arndean) like it was Kitzbuhel!!
Thankfully, no damage done except to pride and bruising to dignity.
Dave said that it was carrying his partner, George Gow, that put him off balance.

Conditions under foot not quite as "white frosty" as Tuesday.
But the frost was deeper in the greens, so, difficult to judge approaches.

On a bright, cold and initially frosty morning.
