Seven players today. All had forgotten about the Seniors Open Scramble, as one does(?).
So everyone went out on the Cowden course, with a review to be taken later on return to the clubhouse.
No scores were properly kept, but skins had been assiduously noted.
At the tenth hole two dropped out and a "vicious" 5-man skins took place over Arndean.
The main beneficiary was Drew Page with 4 skins.
It has been quite some week for Drew, and good to see him back with us.
After a misty start it turned into a bright sunny day.
So two Championship players took a leisurely stroll on Cowden. But didn't play.

Sixteen players including three guests played at St. Fillans, which was beautifully presented.
A beautiful day, with enough breeze to keep us honest, and it proved to be a fine test.
